Text Not Displaying with Animation

Hello, 

I am hoping this is just user error... 

I've searched the forums for a way to bold text and discovered the PPT10 animation that does this isn't supported yet.  As a work around, I placed thee bullet points on the screen, one regular, one bold and I use the appear/disappear animation.  I have 3 bullet points, so on the second click, the 2 bold point appears, the regular text disappears, the 1st bold point disappears and the 1st regular should reappear.

This all works as it should in ppt preview and when I sync my narration in presenter.  However, when I preview the slide, the regular text for points 1 and 2 isn't there.  It doesn't appear until after the second click (as it should).

Thru trial and error, I think I've pinpointed the problem as the animation to reappear with the second click.  But I need that so things work properly.

What am I doing wrong?  I am a newbee to this, so I apologize in advance.
