When we trying to download & run the software again and again it is asking us to install the same. Please find the attached file for your reference. Kindly help me for this issue. Hi Meera,

A bug has been identified in Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.267 that breaks features in many applications, including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Articulate Studio. For example, in Storyline and Studio:

  • You'll see a blank screen when you preview a project.
  • The preview area of the player properties window is blank.
  • The timeline preview feature doesn't work.
  • You can't preview videos, Flash movies, or web objects.
  • You can't edit videos.
  • You can't import Engage interactions into Storyline courses.
  • You can't view courses published for CD.

The good news is Adobe and Microsoft have fixed the issue in recent updates. Follow the steps below for your version of Windows to fix the problem.

Hope that helps!

Hi Meera,

What version exactly of Flash did you install locally? The problem was in Flash 20.0.0.67 - so you'll need the ones after that, and it's best to ensure you have the latest Windows update. It needs to be installed locally, not just within a web browser and if you were to check the Flash version in a browser such as Chrome, you'll see information about the Flash plug in associated with Chrome.

You'll also want to make sure you're on the latest update of Studio '13 here.

If you continue to have difficulty, you'll want to look at connecting with our Support engineers here.

Hi Praveena,

Are you trying to create a new interaction from within Presenter or import one you've already completed in Engage as a standalone version? Were you able to go through the repair steps? Can you share a copy of this Engage interaction (either as a standalone if that's what you're trying to use or the Presenter package)? You can include it in a reply here by using the "Add Attachment" button at the bottom of the reply window or send it to our Support Engineers by uploading it here.

Hi Praveena,

Thanks for sharing the Engage interaction file here. I was able to successfully import it into a Presenter '13 course and didn't receive any error messages.

At this time, I think it would be best for you to continue this work and discussion with our Support engineers so that we can figure out what is happening.
