Using PP macro buttons in Presenter

I have created a case study look to my design where on one tab is the instructions, another is the resources to help solve, another is feedback from others to guide, and then there is the analysis tab where the user organizes the data collected and the final decide tab where the user makes the recommendation.

My question is this....on the analysis tab I created a series of check boxes to help analyze the material using the macro feature in PP 2007. When I publish, I am unable to click into the check boxes.  I have seen a example of this being done in articulate, but am not sure what I have done wrong.

Any suggestions.  This is the final issue I think I have with the case study since I  got through the hyperlinking and sound file nightmare.
