I've had to redo an online module that used to work. I had issues with ppt and presenter and had to reinstall both. Now that I've gotten everything reinstalled, the video that used to work no longer works. I have deleted it and reinserted but no go.
I noticed that the video placeholder appears as a black screen, rather than the first frame of the video. Once published, the timer on the slide runs, from 0:01 to 5:18, but the video never appears. I'm still working in '09, if that makes a difference.
I've checked the properties for the video and changed them from start "on click" to "automatically". Still didn't work.
What type of video file are you using? Are you not able to see the video in the published output when testing locally or have you also experienced the same thing when viewing the published output uploaded to your LMS or web server? What browser are you viewing the published output in? You'll want to confirm you're viewing it within one of the supported browsers here.
If you're able to share a copy of the video or even the Presenter package we'd be happy to test it out as well.
