Thanks for sharing the video here - from that it looks like the .PPTA file isn't included the first time you create the package? That's where the video file would be housed. I'm curious if you're able to see the video when you publish the output as well? Is the video you're inserting also hosted locally?
When I publish the course I do see the video's, however the PPTA isn't being generated as I expect. ALl video's are stored within the root folder of my module. When I am working on projects they tend to be saved on my desktop until i have finished.
Hi Stuart. Thanks for the additional info. Could you also confirm that you have these minimum system requirements for Studio '13 (including compatible versions of PowerPoint)? In Studio '09, a similar issue was discovered with non-compatible PowerPoint versions.
And just to cover bases, these are the instructions for creating an Articulate package. Apologies if you're following that process already, but it's good just to be sure! If these situations don't quite cover your situation, please try a repair of Studio '13 to fix any malfunctions you see with Studio.
Hi Crystal - I've had Studio 13 since it came out and it's always worked until recently. In fact a colleague of mine is having the same issue. I've reinstalled Articulate recently hoping that would solve this issue. I can tell you this isn't a compatibility issue.
If you've uninstalled/reinstalled and still having difficulty and the files are not saving properly, I would advise that you work with a support engineer here to get to the root of the issue. Interesting that a colleague would be having similar issue. Maybe some logs can be requested to better understand.
