View Everything BEFORE Taking Quiz

Mar 27, 2013

Hi everyone.  I'm using Presenter and a Quizmaker quiz.  Is there a way to require that a learner look at all the content before being able to take a quiz?  I have a menu slide with 3 links, each link going to a separate body of content.  Is there any way for me to require that learners complete all 3 bodies of content before they can take a final quiz? I can easily ensure that a learner can't view anything after a quiz by putting that in the quiz properties, but I want to ensure the opposite.

If not in the form I have now (a menu slide with 3 links), is there another way?

Thanks.

From a purely design perspective:

is this an annual course? would some of the learners know this content before taking the course? is there new content that might be added during updates each year?

In those cases, I usually create a flow that shows all the new content, then moves to a pre-test that would allow the learner to bypass the large amount content if they get 100%. Then, only show the bulk of the content to those that did not pass.

I know some organizations require that learners at least page through every bit of content for audit purposes, but if it's not really a requirement, maybe the above scenario will work.

I have this discussion with every course I do, as most of the time, those that request the courses, have no idea this is a possible solution. Branching is your friend!
