Zipping file after closing publish successful window

Sometimes I publish a file without zipping it right away, closing the publish successful window. In this situation, I have gone to Windows Explorer, right clicked the folder, Send to.../Zipped folder. However, those receiving a file zipped this way have reported that they get an error message. Personally, I've had no such trouble. I've also noticed that the zipped folder icon has a little lock on it, unlike files zipped via Articulate(see attachment) that do not. Is there a way to go back and zip the published file via Articulate without having to republish to get the confirmation window and zip file button?
