Articulate Quizmaker previous function

Sep 09, 2016

I have a Quizmaker file which begins with a scenario (blank slide). Upon clicking Next, the user is brought to a multiple choice slide. Is there a way for the user to go back to the scenario slide in case he/she wants to read through the information again? These quizzes contain around 3-4 paragraphs worth of scenario content for every question and it would be great if the user could actually read through them again despite already being on the question slide.

Please feel free to share any ideas you might have :)

Hi Nicole!

If you utilize Submit all at once vs the standard one at a time, this would give you the navigation you're looking for as well as allowing the user to review/change answers if needed. Here is the tutorial for the following:

  • Submit all at once: Choose this option to let learners wait to submit their answers until they’re completely finished with the quiz. They can move back and forth among the questions, and they can even change their answers at any time until they submit them at the end of the quiz. Quizmaker won’t display feedback after questions, since choices aren't evaluated till they're submitted. This approach works well if you don’t need to show question-specific feedback or use branching. It's also a good option if you don’t want the learner to know how they did on the quiz until the end.
