Different questions based on equipment type

Hi - I'm trying to set up a quiz that contains different groups of questions that the student will be directed to based on their selection of the type of equipment they work on. Many of the questions will be common to all types, but there are a few that will be selected based on their response to a "selection" question that I have inserted in Group 1, which branches to the correct group of questions.
Each group contains the entire quiz for that equipment type, so I want them to complete all questions in that group and then finish the quiz.
So I tried branching from the last question in each group to "End Quiz".
However, it doesn't seem to work - at the end of Group 2 it starts the questions in Group 3, etc.
I messed about with this a few months ago, and got it working, but I've since received a new PC (losing some files in the transfer) and can't remember how I did it.
Am I being too ambitious? Do I need a separate quiz for each equipment type?

I'm not sure that I'm following your question.
You can set up branching options within Quizmaker '13. Have you tried branching to a final slide versus 'end quiz' as you indicated above?
Hi - I found my error. It was related to needing to Submit the questions individually, rather than Submit All at the end. Otherwise the branch selection I thought I was making at the start was not executing - just going to the next slide!
