Display errors on quizzes published into presentations

Jul 09, 2012

Greetings -

I am encountering some perplexing display errors in quizzes that are published into a presentation when that presentation is published and uploaded to an LMS.

Random answer text (a whole answer, but not *all* the answers for the question) will fail to display next to the check box or radio button.  Also, in some instances the image in a hotspot question does not display or the text in the feedback dialog does not display.

In Quizmaker (both Form View and Slide View) the questions appear to be entered and formatted correctly and when previewed do not exhibit this behavior.  It is only once they are published as part of a presentation  that the errors show up.

I have attached a capture of an example of this behavior below.

Note that I have already reinstalled Studio '09 in case it was a problem with font installation.  I would appreciate any insight into the source and/or possible solutions for this problem!

Thank you!

Welcome to Heroes, C, and sorry for the trouble.

Do you have Carbonite installed, by any chance? If you have Quizmaker and Carbonite installed on the same computer, you may find that random text or images are missing from published quizzes. At this time, the workaround is to uninstall Carbonite and republish your quiz(zes).

Another possibility, is if you're using Boot Camp on a Mac with "Parallels Internet Security Powered by Kaspersky" enabled, you may find that question or answer text is randomly missing when you preview or publish your Quizmaker quiz.

Please review the following article for more information:

If neither of the above apply to you, please contact our support team and they'll be happy to work with you to get this resolved. Thanks!

Hi, I am having a similar issue.  I have a colored bar with text on it.  When I preview it, it appears ok but when I publish it to a word document, I just see the box.  I tried deleting the Articulate font (although it's not the font I am using) as suggested in the support page, and re-installed the quizmaker file but it didn't work.  I tried changing the font, the color of the text, the color of the box and nothing.  My last resort is to take a screen shot of all 116 questions so I can send to the SME expert to review.
