Engaging Quiz- Selecting all options is correct.

Oct 20, 2011

Can I make a quiz that simply gets the learner to consider four options, (possible benefits of a product) and select all of them as benefits of the product being presented? It's simply an attempt to engage, rather than an actual quiz.

Flash with four tickboxes isn't working for me - doesn't appear consistently on Publishing.

Something like:

What would be possible advantages of having lots of money?

* You don't have to work if you don't want to

* You can go on exotic holidays

* You can send your kids to the best schools

* You don't have to worry about bills

All of these are advantages, some you may have thought of, some you may not have realized are advantages of the scenario in question.

Thanks

Fiach

A screenshot's an issue itself, because I can't use Articulate on my own machione - it's stopped working. We've only just adopted it - at  a customer's insistence.

Three trial versions crashed before the thirty day trial period was up, but we have one licensed version on another machine. I'll try the quiz again when that's free, and post again later.

We had a solution worked out with a Flash interaction, but that won't Publish with Powerpoint 2010!

Articu " Late" indeed.

This is totally strange... What you are trying to do is one of the most simplest thing you can do with quizmaker...

You may contact the articulate support people for your Issues with the trial version. They are very prompt and fast.

Are you using Action Script 3.0 for your flash? Please refer to http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/kb/?p=76 to know the right settings while using flash in articulate.

Hi Fiach - really sorry about the trouble with your software. Sayuj is right, what you're looking to accomplish should be very straightforward with a multiple-response type of question in Quizmaker. Have you already submitted a support case regarding the issues you're experiencing? That would be the best thing to do, so that we can help you troubleshoot what's going on & get you up and running. You can include a link to this thread when you submit your case. Thanks Fiach.

Hi Fiach. Sorry about the difficulty here. I reviewed your case and sent you some instructions for you to get us your project files. I also provided you with some details about how to resolve unexpected behavior. The first is to make sure that your project files reside on your C drive. Working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior. Depending on what exactly is happening when you say the program is crashing, you may want to try this:

I would only do that if the software seems to be crashing at random times and not while doing something specific.
