We have successfully programmed go to URL for our quiz in desktop version, i.e. when the user is taking quiz in a web browser.
When the user takes the quiz on say an iPad using the Articulate iPad app, the url is not followed. I suspect we need to program the url within the "mobile" files that quizmaker generates?
If you are utilizing hyperlinks as explained here then they should work in the Articulate Mobile Player, although the file hyperlinks are not supported as explained here.
We are not using a hyperlink, we use Go to URL: when user finishes quiz. This works in all browsers on a desktop/laptop computer but not in the mobile app. So, if we cannot get it to work in mobile app (I tested iPad with Safari) then I guess I'd like to know if we can disable mobile and allow users to take quiz from mobile device in a browser?
I apologize for not understanding, I think I still had my brain on your other thread as well. Looks like that should be supported. Could you share your .quiz file for me to take a look?
If you did decide to disable use of the Mobile App, you would just need to republish and unselect that option. It would then launch in the mobile browser as expected.
It boils down to needing to manipulate some javascript which is not supported. We have successfully manipulated presentation.js but it doesn't appear that the mobile version utilizes this file.
There are some known reasons detailed here on why the finish button may not work as expected to close the browser window. Have you reviewed all those items?

Hi Bryan! Hopefully someone in the community will be able to assist you here. We do not support the modification of published output.
HI Leslie,
Do you support the Articulate mobile app and go to URL?

There are 4 .quiz files that make up a presentation. Is there an email I can use or a secure area for upload?
I will open a support ticket.
Thanks Bryan and if you'd like to share your case number we're happy to follow along as they investigate it.

Thanks Bryan for the update - and I'm sorry it wasn't something we were able to assist with.
Looks like we need to manipulate "player_compiled.js" Has anyone done this to effectively post form data to a different URL?
Finish Action
When the user finishes the quiz:
Close browser window
Go to Url:
Neither action ever worked for me, my question is can code be entered in some way to make the Finish Button work upon clicking it?

We were able to edit player_compiled.js at the Element.prototype.open_url=function(a) @ line 299 to fit our needs.
Thanks for the update Bryan and glad you were able to work it out!
