Hi KAUSHIK!

Thanks for reaching out. Glad to hear you are exploring options for incorporating a timer into your project. Happy to help get you started!

I'd like to share step-by-step instructions for inserting a timer into your Storyline 360 project. Also, I found a countdown timer download shared in the community for use in Quizmaker 360 that could be helpful!

Feel free to share more about what you're looking to achieve in case more specifics are needed in your design! I'm sure others in the community would be willing to share what worked well for them.

Hey Luciana, thank you so much for the information. Your information is very helpful, and I checked the countdown timer download. That a great idea but again the challenge is that this downloaded time will give only 10 seconds timer by default. It would have been great if we could have desired number of seconds on that timer.

  • Also, I have a doubt if we include this downloaded timer, will the LMS report get generated with the details correctly?

Hello Kaushik Kale,

You can find some other working examples of slide timers here:

The community was able to offer some solutions, so hopefully you find one that works for you. Also, custom variables don't get reported automatically to an LMS, but you can check out this article to learn how to send the value of any variable to an LMS.

Hope this helps!
