Is it possible to hyperlink to a file on the Pass Results page of Quizmaker? I tried putting the file on the same level as the quiz.swf file and I've also tried putting the file in the data\swf\quizmaker_261\quiz_content\ directory. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What type of file are you trying to link to, exactly? Is it a PDF, DOC, etc.?
In Quizmaker '09, just remove the http:// in the link field and put the name of the document you want to link to ie. mydocument.pdf (either in form view or slide view). Then publish your quiz.
In the published files, copy your attachment to the root level of your quiz ie. at the same level as quiz.html. Your attachment should open when setup this way.
I am linking to an .html file, which calls an .swf file. The Quizmaker quiz is actually embedded in an Articulate Presenter course, so I put both files in the root level of the course output folder (not in the same level of the quiz.swf file). It actually worked that way, even though the link to the file was within the Quizmaker quiz Pass Results page. In the actual link in the Quizmaker quiz Pass Results page, I put the name of the file only (e.g. mydocument.html) and removed the http://.
I should have mentioned the quiz was within a Presenter course! Sorry about that. However, its great to know how it should be done when the Quizmaker quiz is being published as a standalone item.
That's wonderful! Good to know you were able to get this working in a Presenter file, I may have to keep that in mind if anyone has similar questions for their presentations.
