Leave Quiz at Any Time

I have created two quizzes (Quizmaker '13) and included them as slides in Presenter '13. When I publish the presentation, there are no controls when the quizzes are playing that allow the learner to skip back to or ahead to the PPT content. I have turned off the menu - is this why they can't navigate around?
Settings for the quiz player (attached as well): submit 1 question at a time, include volume/seekbar.
Settings for presenter (also attached):
- Passing: go to next slide
- Failing: go to next slide
- Allow to leave quiz: at any time
- user may view slides after quiz: at any time
- Show in menu as single item

Hi Kim,
What have you set as the menu navigation method of your Presenter course (even with the menu disabled, this still impacts navigation). When course navigation is Restricted in Articulate Presenter '13, learners won't be able to advance past an embedded interaction until it's complete. An interaction is considered complete when learners reach the last step of the interaction.
Actually, my course navigation is "Free". I also noticed that when I go to slide properties, the option to have the previous/next buttons on the player are grayed out and I can't add them. Is there some other setting I'm missing that would allow my learners to skip the quiz if they want?
Hi Kim,
Ok - since the user is likely submitting the quiz questions using the "submit" button that is why you're unable to also have the prev/next buttons and therefore the user continues throughout the course. You could look at having the user "submit all at once" which would bring about the prev/next buttons.
Also if you're still having difficulty, please share your Articulate Package.
Thank you for the suggestion. As designed, after each question, instruction is provided and that is a big part of the quiz, so submitting all at once will not be an option.
Looks like my work around is to give them a "skip quiz" button on the previous slide that links to later in the training.
Hi Kim,
I certainly can understand not wanting to change your set up - you could put instruction(blank slides) within quizmaker after the questions but of course it wouldn't be based on how they answered as I suspect you're looking to do with the feedback.
Glad a skip quiz button will help you get where you need to be.
