Problems Inserting Published Quiz into PowerPoint

Good Afternoon to Everyone on the Board -

I am using QM 2.10.179 to create and publish a quiz into a PowerPoint presentation, with limited results.

I am able to create and publish the quiz and it saves as *.aqm.  When I go to insert the quiz into the presentation, I am only allowed to select files that end in *.aqp.  I tried changing the "Files of type" selection at the bottom of the "Insert Articulate Quizmaker Quiz" window, but it does not allow any options other than *.aqp.  Further, I tried re-publishing the quiz for different formats (Web, Presenter, LMS, etc...) with no different results (meaning, it will not save as *.aqp).

Any ideas what might be going wrong? For that matter, I have not ruled out operator error and would gratefully be schooled, if that's the case
