Quiz maker and Anel 7.4

Sep 15, 2011

Hi- I hope someone can help me trouble shoot my current challenge.

I am having a significant challenge getting our LMS (angel 7.4) to track quiz results in the grade book. I am new to Articulate and assume this may be a lot of my problems.  However, I have read several tutorials on the topic all with no success.

I can upload the player as a scorm 2004 and get it to play.  However, upon completion, I have no idea where the results are going.  Is there a submit answers to... button or field that I am missing.

Also in the "9 ways to troubleshoot articulate and Lms issues it states “Ensure your LMS is pointing to index_lms.html to launch the course (not to player.html or any other HTML file).”  Not sure where to find this.

Also, I am assuming that part of my problem is the "resume where you left off feature."  Does this feature need to be turned off?  If so where is it located?

Sorry for the basic questions.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris

Hi Chris & welcome to Heroes,

The following article will show you which data is being sent to your LMS from Quizmaker quizzes and surveys:

Please note that it is up to your LMS to determine how to process and display the data that is being sent to it.  Bear in mind that some LMS's may not be able to process the data the way that you are looking for.

If you're having trouble understanding why your LMS isn't tracking the data, you may want to contact the LMS vendor for additional support.  They should have instructions on how to upload SCORM content to their system.

Regarding pointing the LMS to your index_lms.html, most LMS's handle this automatically.  You'll need to contact your LMS vendor to see if there's anything additional that you need to do.

Regarding the resume feature, it may need to be turned off if you're reaching the limit on suspend data.  For more information on this, see the links below:
