Quiz not publishing, just spinning

Feb 08, 2013

I am creating knowledge check quizzes with Quizmaker at the end of every section of a new course.  The quizzes are created in the slide view (lots of photos, graphics, boxes).  I created a new template with the sound turned off and the the review slide (showing the final score) turned off.  The second slide is a blank slide that is a copy of the first showing the correct and incorrect answers (similar to a Screenr tutorial that David Anderson did a while back).

When I publish the course, neither of the quizzes work; they just spin (like they are mocking me...).  When I view one or three slides from the course, they work just fine.  I know that it has been a long development day but am I doing something wrong?  I bet that its an easy fix so I will thank you all ahead of time for your assistance.

Hi Judy!

How are you viewing the published quiz? Are you viewing it locally? Try to upload the content to a web server or LMS and see if the quiz runs properly for you.

If you view a published Stuido '09 presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review this article for details.
