Quizmaker - output from a Non Graded Survey

Jan 07, 2014

Hello,

My question is two fold.

First - if I'm using a non graded survey question in Quizmaker 09 simply to get the leanrer to think about something and then type a response - is there a way for me to collect that data? Is there a way for them to save their response?

Additionally, is there a way to disable the screen that appears after the quiz is answered and they hit submit?

Thank you

Hi Sharon,

Are you using an LMS for your course(s)? If so, and you're not seeing the survey data, it may be that your LMS doesn't support that data.

There's an extremely helpful thread response by Brian Batt that may better explain this and help you out:

Quiz/Survey Results

For your second question - which "screen" are you referring to? Is it the results slide, a "thank you" page, etc.? If you could provide a little more detail here, I'd be happy to try and help.

Thanks!

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for getting back to me!

Yes - you can either completely disable the "Thank you" slide, or you can customize it.

To do so, select your survey question and click on "Survey Result" along the top ribbon in Quizmaker '09.

From here, you can either uncheck "Display survey result slide" to disable the slide or you can enter your custom text in the field below.

If you click on "Slide View" you can even customize the way the slide is designed.

I hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks :)

Hi Sharon!

Actually, before you try reinstalling, I would recommend checking your DPI settings on your machine. It may just be an incorrect rendering of the screen that's causing the issue.

See if this helps:

Articulate Support - Articulate Quizmaker '09 DPI support

If that doesn't help, try running a quick repair on the software:

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks! :)
