Audio is quiet in Replay

Mar 03, 2017

Hello!  Has anyone experienced low audio levels in Replay?  We have a great recording set up and it works great when we play it through the first time.  Once I add the audio to the track it significantly lowers in volume.  I have even turned up the audio level to 200% and it is very quiet.  Please help!

Thank you!

Hi Jessica,

Did you record the audio separately from your initial screen recording? What tool did you record the audio in? I'd also want to know a bit more about your environment, such as what version and update of Replay you're using, and if you're working exclusively with local project files? You can find some best practices for managing your Replay files here.

If you're still having difficulty after checking out some of those items, we’d be happy to take a look at your file. You’ll want to upload the .replay file here (which is the file prior to publishing) in addition to the audio file using the “ADD ATTACHMENT” button at the bottom of the forums reply window. If you’d prefer to not share in the public forums you’re always welcome to share with our Support Engineers here. They’re available 24/7 to assist!

Hello!

We have Article Replay update 3: 1610.2715. We have done both, we have recorded within Replay and also from Storyline in which we exported and then added the file into Replay. We are also working with local project files. We worked through the link you suggested and we are still receiving the same issues.

The files are quite large so I can't send them through email. And there are also quite a few of them. Is there any easier way to get the files to you?

Thanks!
