When I use my mouse during screen recordings, the icon for the mouse is never recorded as being directly on the item I'm clicking even though it was placed correctly when I recorded the movements. I use the windows feature that when I tap the CTRL key, it indicates (using the growing circles) where the mouse is on the screen. The indicator is correctly placed, but the mouse icon is off to the side a couple of inches. It's almost like my screen resolution is messing with it or somehow it needs to be "calibrated"... Any ideas?

I believe you're headed in the right direction, as I've seen in other discussions where your display settings can affect the outcome. Can you check to ensure your DPI settings are at 100%?
You can do this by right-clicking your Desktop, select Display Settings, and check that your Scale and layout is at 100% or 96 DPI.
If that doesn't help, you can also get a case started with us to take a closer look at your setup and see if something else is causing the issue.
