My laptop has a built in web camera and I also have a usb web cam attached. Replay does not "see" my usb camera and will not let me select to use it for recording. Is it just me? Am I missing something?
I am trying to test using Replay to capture classroom lectures (Camtasia Studio has been unreliable in saving the recording - crashes too often when recording is over and it goes to save the files).
In Replay, I am not seeing my second option for webcam (Microsoft DV Camera and VCR - Canon GL2 connect to laptop via firewire). If I open Camtasia at the same time, I see both the Integrated Camera and the Microsoft DV Camera as options. In Replay, only the Integrated Camera. See screenshot.
I had a similar situation with my microphone, and I had to change which was the default microphone within Windows to have it recognize both (my built in and USB mic). If you're still having difficulty you may want to conduct a repair of Replay, as I'm not sure what magic Owen did that allowed his web cam to come back.

Is the external camera set as your default within your Windows set up? I'd also suggest to conduct a repair of Replay, and see if that allows for it to pick up your web cam.

....and now it is back. Weird. Probably just a glitch in my machine.... or a "user-keyboard interface error"
