I'm hoping someone can help me; I am trying to record a replay capture and the recording is cutting off sections of the screen. I have attempted recording both using the "Full Screen" mode and by dragging the window to record my entire screen.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get replay to record my entire screen?
I'm having the same problem, have we been able to sort this out?
It only records the top left portion of the screen and no matter what I select it will always record only this portion. I'm running Replay 1 on a single monitor and windows 7
I was able to sort it out; I ended up checking and adjusting the screen resolution settings on my computer to a lower quality setting and my entire screen was then available to record. It was several weeks ago but I believe I changed it from the original 1920 X 1080 to 1280 X 720.
It looks like you had a similar issue in the past and you discussed it with my colleague, Gerald? I believe that was for Storyline and your IT team had to help with clearing the registry keys for the monitor and display. Have you attempted that again with Replay?
oh boy....if i have to re-record my project all over....its not going to be pretty. I just thought it was the limitation of the replay window. i recorded using Reply 360 on a laptop.
I like to personalize my desktop, but this can cause problems with Replay. If Windows 10 Settings/Background picture must be set to "Fill" for Replay to properly record the screen. When I use either "Fit" or "Stretch" Replay records more than the single screen that I am seeking to record. I also have to make sure that the Windows 10 Display settings "Scale and Layout" are set to 100% or the mouse is not recorded where I am actually pointing.

Hi Grant,
First I would try to do a fresh installation of Replay 1. That usually solves errors like this.
Give it a try, and let me know if that helps!

Thanks for sharing that, Trina – and nice job! I'm certain others that land on this post will find this helpful.
Please keep us posted on how you make out, Grant!
Shouldn't it work on a normal resolution though?
Hi Rachael,
Are you running into an issue recording in Replay? What's the screen resolution that is your normal or default?
Unfortunately that didn't fix my issue but, I'm glad it worked for you!
