Building my first replay course and I understand the transitions later in the course, but how do I get my initial media to fade in, rather than just start? It seems rather abrupt and I just can't figure it out.
The transitions that you see occur when one media is changing to another, so you'd need to add in a starting screen or image to fade to your first media. There isn't a built-in option to have the first media fade on its own - although perhaps you could build that outside of Replay in your video editing tool?
