I've inserted some video clips into replay, but they are upside down or sideways. Is there a way that I can rotate the videos / images inside of replay?
You'll want to use an outside tool to rotate the video prior to inserting it into Replay. I'm curious--are the original video files upside down/sideways, or do they only appear that way after being imported into Replay?
Hi, has Articulate come up with a solution to this?
None of my images are rotated but when I upload to replay they rotate 270' - I've tried rotating them from the original position as well and it still forces them to upload into Replay at 270'.
May I ask what type of image file causes this issue?
Replay supports these file formats:
BMP
JPEG
JPG
PNG
We don't have an open bug report for this issue, so there might be some specifics in the file that we need to dig into. Would you mind sharing the images with me, so that I can import them on my end? You can either share them in this discussion using the "add attachment" button or sharing them privately by using this link.
Thanks for sharing that image! I came across the same issue when inserting into Replay 360. I opened it into PowerPoint, saved as a .jpg, and imported it correctly into Replay 360. You can find the edited image attached!
One thing I noticed when importing to PowerPoint is that it showed up in portrait mode, but the "top of the image" was actually the right side. It makes me think that's how Replay is recognizing it and causing it to rotate.
I'll do some internal digging to see if Articulate products rotate the image by default, but in the meantime, you can use a tool like PowerPoint to correct the orientation.

Hi Alyssa, the video clip I took on my iphone flips when I upload it into Replay for editing too. Could you recommend 1-2 decent free outside tools?
Hi there, Paul. Although I don't have specific experience with video editing tools, I'm sure the community can share their favorites with you!

Is there any workaround for this?

Hi Lauren,
It's just a JPG photo image - I will send to you via the link.
Thanks,

Hi Lauren, the link you sent won't let me upload JPG so I am attaching one here as an example.
