Shrinking Video size in Reply

Feb 05, 2020

My problem of the day:  my Replay project contains an opening with full screen actions on the desktop that include the lower toolbar and searching (Windows 10).  When published, actions in the beginning of the toolbar are obscured by the Windows Media Player controls.  (I know you can move the mouse off the screen and they go away but...)  Is there any way in Replay to create a boarder around a video to keep the lower toolbar above the Windows player controls?  I envisioned this to be a short YouTube like how to video that was easy to circulate as an MP4.  Trying to avoid using the more robust Storyline 360 project but I will if there is no workaround.  Has anyone else ever encountered this? If so, how did you solve it.

Hi Pam,

Happy to help here!

Replay 360 is a great tool for quickly and easily creating screencasts while simultaneously recording a video of yourself using your webcam. It allows for editing videos to trim, split, cut, delete, silence, and adjust the volume of media clips. What might help, is to publish the video to MP4 and then do some post-publish editing in a video tool of your choice.

I am hoping that others in the community can jump in to share their insights!
