I have added an embeded link to a googlemap in a Storyline course but when I review it I am getting a 403 error (see attached image).
When I paste the link inot a web browser (both Chrome and Microsoft Edge) it opens without any issues.
If anyone can shed any light on this I would be very grateful

Do you have a link to share. I assume that there's some sort of permissions issue with Google Maps. Some sites don't allow embedding content on other sites. When you share a google map, there's also an embed code you can use.
Hi Tom
Thanks for your reply, I'm afraid I can't share the full link on here as its a commerically sensitve map but I used the embed code from googlemaps to create the link which is why I'm struggling to understand the 403 error.
Here's the embed code with the map identifier replaced by (not necessarily the correct number of) x's
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" width="640" height="480"></iframe>
Here's an example with three links:
Here's the embed code I used and it worked for me.
https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d25164.271380154!2d23.7273088!3d37.964667299999995!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x14a1bd1837f5acf3%3A0x5c97c042f5eb0df6!2sAcropolis%20of%20Athens!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sgr!4v1705586152206!5m2!1sen!2sgr
Does that code work for you?
Thanks Tom,
It's a bit of a faff but it works brilliantly. I would never have got there on my own.
Glad you got it resolved.
