Access Screen Record Backgrounds

Apr 19, 2016

I've created some screen recordings for a project that contains some sensitive information that I would like to photoshop out so they can be shared with a wider audience.

I am aware that you can export individual frames from the full-frame video in recordings using this process, but this is going to be incredibly time consuming, and the modified screen capture will only be sitting on top of the existing background, not replacing it. Is there a way to access the backgrounds used within the slides themselves? They seem to be somehow embedded and unchangeable.

Captivate can export backgrounds en masse and then re-import/implement them. Can the same or similar be done with Storyline and I'm just missing it?

Has this changed recently? I'd like to take the background image that's recorded in a try mode screen capture and modify it. I see where I can fine tune, etc. but I want to take the image itself and move it/change it/ etc. I don't see a way to do that other than placing something over it. I would also like to take each slide and combine them into a single slide with multiple layers. Is there an easy way to do that?
