Accessibility - Removing Player from Tab Order completely

I'm building a course where I need to customize the tab order of all elements. I've recreated all the player, CC, pause, next back etc so that they can be positioned where I need them in the tab order.

During the narration for each slide, I display a blank layer on top of the slide contents so the learner can't tab around to everything. The only thing that keeps coming up now is the "Skip Navigation - press enter to return to the slide" JAWS prompt. I've turned everything off in the Player options so I'm at a loss as to how to remove it from the tab order.

Has anyone been able to remove it?

Hi mate,

According to this article, "The option to skip player navigation is always enabled in published courses. You don't need to do anything to activate it."

I'm not sure if it's possible to disable. Are you sure that you've turned off all of the player options? My theory is that if the player is completely disabled, then perhaps that skip player message will disappear?
