I have three separate results slides for three Quizzes and would like to pass these results to a final Results Slide. I have added the slide but can't seem to get the individual results slides to navigate to there.
Do i need to use a variable saying "if all three results slides completed..go to final results screen" ? If so how would I do this please?
I have 3 modules and each have a separate quiz and one final results slide, when each of my modules and quiz are completed and the learner passes the module they close the e-Learn using the exit button, but the LMS shows In Progress.
I have tried all sorts of combinations, but nothing make the course show as complete. Can you advise what I can do to make the e-Learning show as complete on the LMS?
I have a final result slide with my 2 other quiz results slides ticked to track. I checked with my LMS support team (Kallidus) and they say the e-learn is showing still in progress when exited. I have tested in SCORM Cloud and it still says incomplete. I am using the combine quiz option as learners have to take one or the other quiz not both
I have tried adding a new results slide to combine the quiz results but still it shows in SCORM cloud as incomplete.
I have removed the % as this is not showing correctly so I just need to get the In Progress to change to Complete when the learner has taken the e-Learn and quiz, it works with one quiz but not 2 and I can't see how to get it Complete on exit, can you advise please?
I have tried several lower pass percentages, currently set on the results slide to 30%. Do I have to set the results slides to lower on all the individual quizzes as well to make this show as complete, if I do lower the other % that will show the learner the wrong %. This is still not working for me and is taking a lot of testing time, does it work in Articulate 360/are there different options in 360? I starting building my e-Learn in Articulate Storyline 2 so have continued.
You should only need to lower the percentage on the final results slide, not on the other results slides.
If you're still having trouble, could you share your file with us? Folks in the community can have a look at your set up and make recommendations on where to go from here!
I have tried again and set the percentage to 20% on the final results slide, this still shows incomplete when I test it in SCORM cloud. The quiz worked when I had only one now I cannot get it to complete now I have other 2 quizzes added and I have tested this alot using different %. I need to have 3 branching courses and 3 quizzes and reporting back to the LMS as complete but this is not working. I can't see how the final results slide is feeding back a result, I've attached the quizzes could you advise where I'm going wrong?
Hi Ruth! Thanks for including your file. It looks like everything is set up correctly in that you have a final results slide (3.1) with a passing score of 20%.
However, do the learners actually visit that slide? If not, the results data won't be sent to the LMS. The learners will actually have to open slide 3.1 for the results to be submitted.
I thought Storyline feeds the results to the final results slides, isn't that what the final results slide does? I'm not getting the whole process here and I have read soooo much and tested soooo much and I still can't get it to work. Is there one example that shows me what I need to add/change to get the results to feedback to the LMS with or witout the %?
Have you tried Judy's method here? If you don't need to know the actual % the learner scored, then her method should work for you. And hopefully the community can also chime in and share their experience with this custom set-up!
I'm using Storyline's final results slide feature. I'm selecting the results slides on a final results slide does this not report back to the LMS? You said everything is set up correctly so I don't see why the final results slide isn't feeding back to the LMS? Can you send me the details of how to correctly set this up to make it work as designed?
We'll only report one results slide to your LMS, and it will be the one you choose as a part of the publish settings here. You'd want that results slide to be set up to track multiple results slides - and if it's not reported to your LMS, have you reached out to them for additional insight?
The set up Alyssa linked to and described is something custom shared here in ELH, so you may want to reach out to those individual users.
I have only one results slide tracking multiple results slides to my LMS by choosing the 'Calculate results for option and set this to selected results slides (the 2 other quizzes results slides). Our LMS support have tested and said the quiz is not reporting back as complete, I also tested in SCORM and my course shows as incomplete.
How do I get my final results slide to feedback from Storyline to the LMS as complete?
Your learners will need to visit the final result slide in order for it to track the results.
I also noticed a couple oddities when playing around with your file such as your final results slide including a submit button- which isn't usually on a results slide.
Try going back a bit and rebuilding your results slides. I made a basic example file that illustrates how this setup should work and I've attached it here for you to reference.
If you'd rather not have the users reach the final result slide and you don't need the actual percentage reported, then Judy's method shared by Alyssa would be a great option for you!
I have re-created the quiz with new results slides linking to a final results slide to track results, removing the submit button on the final results it still doesn't show as complete when tested in SCORM cloud.

Attached is the new version of my quiz. I have tested this alot and still cannot get a complete status. Is the problem the results slide on the other quizzes is not visited and that's why the status is incomplete?
Thanks for sharing the new version of your file. I'll admit I'm a little stumped here too so I'm going to have our Support Engineers give this a look over to see if there's something missing.
I'm having them reach out to you directly, so keep an eye out for an email from support@articulate.com ☺️
Thank you so very much for your reply. I don't have a file that's ready to be shared yet; I'm researching and planning and exploring ideas. Thanks though!
I hope it is okay to add to this string. I have a module that has 3 multiple choice question in it but they are not being scored. However we would like to add a results pass/fail at the end of the course based on the learner reviewing all slides or not. Is that possible and how do I do it?
If you want the learner to pass the course after viewing all of the slides, you'll want to choose the publishing option Track using number of slides viewed. This option triggers course completion when learners view a specific number of slides.
You can also set the LMS reporting status to Pass/Failed.
Both of these settings are found in the LMS publishing window under Reporting and Tracking. Let me know if that's what you had in mind!

There's some pretty helpful videos in that article as well, that may help you get this up and running.

Hi Ruth!
Do you have the pass percentage lowered to allow the user to only take one of the quizzes? The course will consider both.
A workaround could be to track completion by a specific slide, which means they made it through your navigation :)

Any update on this? I am in the same situation.
Hey Susan,
This thread is a bit dated and it looks like the issue that Ruth was experiencing was specific to her file.
Can we start new with you and let us know what you may be experiencing in your project?
Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a look as well?
Thank you so very much for your reply. I don't have a file that's ready to be shared yet; I'm researching and planning and exploring ideas. Thanks though!
No worries, Susan - we'll be here whenever you're ready.

Hi Shari, this is definitely possible!
