I need a little help here... Is it possible to add a message to a disable button in Storyline? Example, user must check all items in the check list in order for the Next button to be clickable. If user does not check all items, Next button will remain in the disable and user cannot proceed.
I would like a warning message "you must click on all items in the checklist before proceeding to the next slide" to pop up every time a user click on the disabled Next button.
You can add that trigger to pop up and control where the button goes with conditions. But NOT if it is disabled. A disable State will not let the button function until it is enabled. You will notice that the mouse does not even changed to a hand when hovered a disabled item.
Instead of disabling the button you could put conditions on the trigger so it pops a warning layer if all the items haven't been visited. You actually need 2 triggers, one that pops the warning layer if the conditions aren't met followed by a trigger to advance to the next slide if all of the conditions are met.

Thank you.
