I have a training video that I have developed in Storyline. I would like to add a pause/resume button. I can't figure out how to make this happen. My training video consists of "mini-movies" that I inserted from Camtasia.
You should be able to add a button to your slide and then show a custom "Pause" layer that pauses the timeline of the base layer when opened. You could either add some content to that layer, letting the user know that the course has been paused, or you could change the state of the button you've created.
If you have any trouble with this, or if you would like to use a different method, can you please share the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look and see if there are any other options for your project.
