Hi Articulate World - I'm using Storyline 1 and was adding a 'Test Your Audio' feature in my course as a layer when the learner clicked on a ? from the Slide Master. However, the audio file won't play and am wondering if this is because it is located on the layer in the Slide Master. The audio file works fine if it's located on the base layer in the Slide Master. Has anyone else tried to add audio to a layer in the Slide Master and been successful?
Is the audio set up to play based on the timeline starting or is there a trigger associated with it? Are you able to share a sample of what you're working with here?
Hi Ashley - I have it set to play based on a trigger when you click on a
custom Play button. I can't post an example because of privacy restrictions
with my company, unfortunately.
I'm guessing it's something to do with the trigger and how that's set up which is interfering with the playback - but without seeing it it's hard to say. Are you able to share a copy with me privately? You can send it along here. Or you could also set up a sample file with the same type of trigger and behavior and share that here in the forums.
