adding up dragged items
Nov 22, 2012
Hi, I'm creating a short interaction which will help people learn about how much calcium they need to eat. I've made a cute little slide where you get to drag different foods and rank them in order of which have more calcium. If you put them in the wrong spot they just bounce back, and once they are in the right order they each show underneath how much calcium they have in them.
I would LOVE to be able to create a slide where you would have a heap of different pictures of foods, and you would drag them into a basket, or onto a table or some such thing, and it would tell you if you had put in enough to meet your daily requirement. Even better, would be some sort of measuring arrow that moved according to how much was in the basket.

Hi Fiona , its possible it storyline, you have to just play with triggers and layers. you just start your project, we are here to help you
Should be easy with variable, you would need top ensure you set triggers to add and subtract when dropped, shouldnt need any layers. adding extra objects is easy.
i wouyl start with a freeform drag and drop and then build the extra functionality on top of that
