I have used Articulate Storyline for a while now. But recently had to use Captivate for a particular job. I have noticed that the ability to use Adobe Edge Animate with it is a pretty serious advantage. In terms of animation, Storyline is pretty limited.
I don't want to leave Storyline for Captive, can anyone give me some advice as to how I would make advanced animations with Storyline? Would I use animation software to export an animation video, then overlay it with Hotspots?
Adobe have discontinued all the edge products, you can use Edge animate to create animations and import into storyline as web objects or as you suggest make videos.
