today I noticed that while editing in the timeline of a layer, the spacebar would pause, but not allow me to restart where I left off. It would start the timeline from the beginning again *everytime* SO MUCH FUN! ...but only while editing within a layer.
I'm happy to help! I've tested this interaction in Storyline 360 (Build 3.47.23871.0) and I'm not able to recreate the issue. Pressing the space bar on both the base layer and any additional layers will play/pause the timeline in Slide View. The Playhead only jumps to the beginning when the timeline reaches the end. Here's what it looks like on my end.
