Aligning two images with exact same size...

Jun 06, 2019

Hi there,

I'm stuck trying to align two images, when dragging an image onto another.

I would like to have a specific state of an image to be centered over the target image, but for some reason this seems impossible, even though I use the Drag and Drop setting 'Snap to center'... ?

The target & the 'dropped' state image have exactly the same size, so, in principle, when I drag an image onto the target, the related trigger should change the state of the image, and the drag and drop settings should align the two perfectly... (as in the 'correct_position' image attached), but that is not what I get... (the 'result' image attached.)

Does anyone have an idea about what I do wrong, and how I can make it work... :-) ?

Thanks for any help!
Thomas

States of an object are positioned relatively.  So once the item is dropped, the triggered state is going to be positioned the same distance away from its new dropped location.  I would change the drop target to a hotspot at the top of the drop location, and then reposition your state to be more in line with the normal state.  see attachment.
