Android devices - Sluggish page loads and slow response

Hi,

We're currrently building some games to play on mobile devices, but there is a marked difference in the speed that the screens load and button responsiveness between an iPhone and Android devices. 

Each screen has some form of animation on it. This is mainly in the form of a card which drops from the top and is then draggable to answer a question by swiping left or right. 

When I select the Start button to start the quiz there is a 3+ second delay before the screeen moves on, which will make the learner think the button did not work. 

I'm hoping there is some optimisation I can do to fix this and I'm suprised this is still an issue in 2022.

Any ideas will be greatly recieved.
