I am looking to run an animated image in Storyline that looks like traffic (i.e. cars moving) into a narrowed highway, coming together and speeding up. Which type of image is best to use for this graphic since it appears Storyline will not support an animated gif?
Animated GIF images are supported in Storyline. However, if you import a PowerPoint presentation that contains animated GIF images, the GIFs become static images in Storyline.
After importing your presentation into Storyline, replace the static images with the original animated GIF files. An easy way to do this is to right-click an image in Storyline, and select Change Picture. Then browse to and select the animated GIF.
Are you having difficulty displaying them when inserted originally?
