animation on a layer

Hey June!

Sorry animations on a layer are giving you trouble. Can you tell me more about your set up?

• What version of Storyline are you using?
• Are you working from your local C: drive?
• Are you seeing this problem in preview mode or after you publish the project?

Storyline 2 - working from my C drive - preview mode - the objects actually disappear unless the animation is taken off - the animation works ok on the base layer but not on any other layers.

Thanks for those details, June. I've tried to reproduce what you're seeing in a new file, and I still need your help. Would you mind sharing your file with me, or even a few sample slides, so I can take a closer look?

I just created a few demo slides with different animations on different layers - and now it is working just fine!

I have no idea what I did different - probably some weird combination of creating/deleting/copy/pasting/changing 'something'.

Anyway, everything seems to be working as it should. I'm so sorry for wasting your time on a non-issue.
