I just imported my first PowerPoint into Storyline. There were some animations that I don't want. Can I remove them in Storyline or do I have to change it in PPT and import again?
Also, can I add PPT like animations in Storyline that doesn't involve layers and states?
The article below covers what features Storyline supports when you import PowerPoint slides. In regards to animations, this is what you can expect to see:
Entrance and Exit Animations: PowerPoint entrance and exit animations are supported in Storyline and will be imported—though some will be converted to Fade animations. Click here for details.
Emphasis Animations: Emphasis animations aren't supported in Storyline and won't be imported.
Motion Path Animations: PowerPoint motion path animations that have equivalent counterparts in Storyline are supported and will be imported. Motion path animations that aren't supported in Storyline will be ignored during the import process. Click here for details.
You should be able to delete animations that have been imported. I hope this helps!
