Is there any way increase the number of undo steps in storyline. I just happened to click Ctrl + Z a few times and after that it stopped. I wanted to go more steps back. Is it possible to increase?
I don't know of any ways to increase this, and suspect it's based on how many items it can hold in the undo set up. You're welcome to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request.
The maximum number of undo/redo steps in Storyline 360 is 20. While there isn't a way to increase that number right now, we'd love to hear more about how this could help you!

In my opinion, this is an absolutely archaic limit! I cannot think of any other professional software that has a limit on undo/redo steps (or at least, not a limit so low that you hit it regularly).
There have been many times over the years where this low number of undo steps has caused me unnecessary rework and frustration. Especially when each 1px nudge of an object counts as an individual step, you can easily use up this limit just by repositioning some things.
Thank you, as always, for such great context. It really helps us understand the need!
I've documented and shared these pain points for the right team to review. If this gets added to a future update, this discussion will be the first to know!
Want to cry a bit? Try this: Create 21 random objects on a slide. Now in the timeline, drag the top one to the bottom. Congrats: all your undo are wasted on that action

I almost wish I didn't know this... C'mon Articulate, you can do better here.

How many undo steps are built into SL 360, and can it be increased to say 100?
Greetings, Robert!
