This issue appeared after the latest update of SL 360.
When playing/previewing the timeline and hitting the stop button, the app is closed. If the project is not saved, I get the question if I want to save the project. If the project is saved, the app just closes.
Have'nt tried if it happens in any other project yet. This project however, contains several video clips, which makes SL run slow and out of sync as it is. SL should be able to handle it, but I'm sorry to say that it has issues with this....
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into with your course on the latest update.
I took a look at one of my courses and I am unable to replicate the crashing.
I'm curious if the issue happens in any course you are working on or just this particular one?
If you cannot re-create the issue in a new course, I would advise to import the file into a new one and proceed.
If it's happening in any/all files, you should conduct a repair of your software.
