Articulate Mobile Viewer

Sep 25, 2013

I have uploaded a project to my Google Drive and am sending users the URL so they can view it on a PC or their iPad (I saved the project with that option). [I was fascinated by TMikeT's post about how to do this. What a neat idea!]

I am trying to allow my learners to use their iPad and Articulate Mobile Viewer to download the program for off-line viewing.  In testing this last night, the download got 95% done then I got an error message. Upon following the "Learn More" link, I found two possible causes-- missing or corrupt files, or I am not connected to the Internet.

I went carefully through the files and verified that all the files on the Google Drive were the same size and same number as the program on my local hard drive.  So I am sure the files are okay at this time. (Earlier yesterday, when I got the error message, I found that about 120 files did NOT upload to the Google Drive. That was easy to fix!)

So my question is, assuming my files are all intact and uncorrupted, what else could be causing the download error? I am clearly connected to the Internet when I try to download the program.

Hi Richard,

Are you using the latest version of the AMP? A new release went out last week with some bug fixes, so you'll want to be sure you've updated it to version 2.12.

If you're able to share your course with us here we'll be happy to test it as well - and if you'd prefer to not post it in the forums, you can always send it to us privately.

Hi, Ashley.

I downloaded the App from the App Store on Monday. I can't tell which version it is (the iPad does not show) so if 2.12 was released before Monday, 9/23, I should have it.

I am going to forward your email response to my desktop computer and upload the file to your private link today.  I will also include in that upload the URL for the Google Drive program so you can try to download it to your iPad.

Thanks!
