Articulate Story Line - Text to Speech

I know this is probably online somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. Does Storyline have a text to speech function, and is it "good"?

By good I mean, does it sound conversational, or is it really robotic? We are considering dumping Adobe eLearning Suite and going to Storyline, and it was brought up.

Hi Eric,

There's not a native text-to-speech feature within Storyline, but it would make a nice feature request.

There is a good discussion on alternatives going on here that you may find interesting, though.

Hi Anne, welcome to the community!

Well, I can tell you that this feature request has been made, and it's a fairly popular one. I'm not able to tell you whether or not it's something the development team is working on because it's against our company policy, BUT, I do know that the development team makes their decision on what to implement based on what they perceive as a great need for something. So with that said, please feel free to add your voice
