I wonder if you can offer some advice, my colleague created a module in Articulate 360 with subtitles however once this has been exported to a SCORM package and uploaded to our Totara LMS the subtitles can no longer be viewed, do you know why this may be?
Oh no, Andy! So sorry you've come across this oddity.
I can help you get to the bottom of this. Could you let me know:
In which browser(s) are you viewing the content?
Are you using the Classic or Modern Player?
If you're viewing the HTML5 output in Chrome and are using the Classic Player, we have an open issue where subtitles do not appear in those conditions. You can work around this problem by either: using the player setting 'Lock Player at optimal size,' using a different browser (if possible), or by using the Modern Player. We'll let you know as soon as the fix for this quirk is released!
If your environment is different, could you share your .story file with us so we can take a close look? We'll give it a test and let you know what we find!
Thanks for your response. The subtitles aren't working on Chrome using the Classic Player. I have checked on IE and the subtitles do appear to be working on that browser.
We can look at implementing the work around in the meantime.
Kind regards,
Jordon

Hey Jordon and Andy. We didn't think you'd mind if we were too fast.... 😏
So I'm here to let you know that we just released update 21 for Storyline 360! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where closed captions sometimes disappeared in HTML5 when using the classic player.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!
