Hello - I have a web page with a variety of public links from SCORM where users can take exams. Upon completing an exam, I'd like for the user to have a report (or certification) that the user can download to confirm their completion of the course. All I would need is the user's first and last name to put on the certificate. I wasn't sure if this should be done in Storyline or can be done using the SCORM API. Any Ideas?
Storyline doesn't currently support certificates of completion. However, you may be able to modify the report.html file in your published output to make it look like a certificate.
Otherwise, you may be able to utilize your LMS or perhaps others in the community can pop in to share ideas.
For this client, they didn't want to use our LMS so we resorted to using a web page to display content. I figured I could custom code something to create a certificate - I was just unsure on how to 1) determine when the user passed the exam and 2) retrieve the user's first and last name. Thank you for your input though!
