I am trying to add attachments into my project, but do not seem to be having much luck.
I can add Resources into the Player fine, but when I try and add a trigger to open an attachment to an object in a slide, although the file gets exported into the External Files folder in the finished package, when I run the project I cannot get the file to open. The mouse pointer changes to the hand icon, but when I click, nothing happens.
I appear to have answered my own query. It seems that the function does work, but if viewing the published presentation in Google Chrome it will not work correctly. Using Internet Explorer or Firefox the links work fine.
Maybe this needs investigating by the product team?
Are you testing the content locally? This is a known issue specific to Chrome, based on their Flash plug in, but it's always a good idea to test your published content within the intended environment as detailed here, and there are a few free web server options you may want to try in that article.
