Are closed captions tied to their respective audio? I have audio with CC and I'd like the user to have the option of not hearing the audio but also be able to see the CC. I've made it so that at the beginning of the course, the user has the option of hearing audio or not. Choosing not to hear the audio triggers the sound to stop on each slide but, of course, turns the CC off as well. Anyway I can trigger the audio off on each slide but still display the CC while in synch with the timeline?
Great question! Captions are tied to audio in Storyline 360. I'd recommend duplicating the audio so that one audio is silent and the other is triggered by a button.
