Audio Doesn't Turn Off on Base Layer of Quiz
Nov 01, 2013
Hello Everyone.
I've built a quiz based on Mike Enders' drop down tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSHHgbzIJ1w The user has unlimited attempts, and is sent back to the refreshed base layer to start over when he/she clicks the "Try Again" trigger. Everything works great exept the audio on the base layer restarts where it left off when the user clicks the "Try again" option from the incorrect layer. I don't want the user to have to hear the audio on the base layer over and over again, but I can't seem to turn it off when the user returns from visiting an Incorrect layer. Any suggestions? Thanks! J.

Hi Jacqueline,
Can you add a trigger to the Try Again button to "stop media" when the user clicks Try again?
Hi Rebecca. I thought that might be the answer, but the triggers don't work. I tried changing the order of the triggers, and also changing the properties of the layers, but the audio continues to run.
Thanks.

hmmm. is it possible to upload your story? It's worked for me, but of course I don't know what's going on in your file.
Hi Jacqueline! Looks like Becky is assisting you here. Hope you will be able to share to get some assistance.
Hi Rebecca and Leslie.
I'm happy to report Mike Enders provided the solution. You place the audio files on a layer, then add a trigger on the base layer to play the audio when the timeline for the slide starts.
I'm so happy it works!
Thanks again,
J.
Awesome! Glad you found a solution Jacqueline and thanks for sharing
